My studentship, as you can imagine, was a very long affair. I bolstered it with a semester as a TA before going into the research assistant program. Both had their challenges, but both were rewarding.
Really it's more that what I know about powers and what I can do--I think it's something that meshes strongly with what the Xavier Institute was founded on. Are you familiar with Dr. Charles Xavier?

The Institute was founded to guide, as I've always understood it. Teaching falls right in line with that. Though I'm interested to learn how you view it - and how your powers fall in line with such.

My power lets me decipher the powers of others. I can guide them to use them better, even overcome their occasional failings or emotional blocks.
It's an adaption that the porter gave me based on the academic work I did at home; for instance I recently helped a young lady who had difficulty controlling her electricity based power to overcome a short circuit that... Well, let's just say she almost brought down a passenger jet before I was able to help her. She was grateful--it was like I'd given her her life back.
I'd like to be able to help people like that again.
