Robert. I am not without the ability to feel compassion for your current situation.

[Well, he is, but who cares about that?]

Are you able to write something that says I'm fit for work? As opposed to a danger to others.

I assume your position at the school is becoming untenable?

I suggested I resign to the director. He told me to calm down and let him handle things. [paraphrased.] But we both agree that it wouldn't hurt to have, for anyone who asks questions.

Well. I believe you're capable of retaining your current position, speaking honestly. I cannot promise the opinions of others will change, mind. I am willing to prescribe you off work on psychiatric grounds, if you believe you need a rest.

And since I'm your doctor, I can arrange things quicker with the director if I have your permission to reveal our professional relationship.

I'd rather stay busy. The next few days are going to be as much rest as I need. [or want, rather. Gogo's words run around in his head, as quick spirals as she can make on her wheels.] And that's fine. He's the one who had the announcement- David Xanatos.

Very well. We shall handle it between us.

And Robert. Remember that medication is always an option, should you need it.

At this point the only thing I'd consider it for is sleeping.

That's fine.

But there's no shame in taking medication. I'm a strong advocate for its use in aiding mental recovery, alongside psychotherapy. Some of my patients find it helps them to wake up a whole new person.

[Of course, many of those patients don't wake up at all.]

[Crane likely knows by now that he does feel a certain degree of shame over having therapy at all. that subtle whisper that he should be better than it...]

We'll talk about it next session, then. When is a good time for you?
