Back home, I was the executive assistant for a multimillion dollar, international, technology company. The government decided the best fit for me here is to work at a burlesque.

You seem like you could find one, easily- is the market just that bad?

My problem is that I don't know where to start.

I haven't been job hunting in years, but it makes sense to me that you start with the basics. On the bright side, you already seem to know what you're good at, and I'm sure you've already gotten at least some sort of start- but you know, it might be worth it to touch base with anyone else who's gotten a new job, here. They could have some valuable advice.

It certainly couldn't hurt. You'd probably be able to put volunteer work with Xavier's on your resume, too, if you need to pad it out.

I've volunteered with just about everything here. I don't think I have to worry about padding out my resume.
